It has been a while since I played this game and looked at recent news and events, and I've been thinking of getting back into it just for kicks once I get the free time during summer. And I got curious, can I enter in my Kakao/Pearl Abyss account information when logging into the Steam version and play without any issues? Am I unable to actually do that but players logging in via Steam and the Pearl Abyss launcher share the same servers? Or can I link both accounts together and switch between either system? I bought BDO 2-3 years before it came onto Steam, way before the ownership transfer thing went into effect (Kakao -> Pearl Abyss) or whatever it was.
